The Boat
The boat swayed softly,
To and throw,
Aimlessly,
Without a skipper on toe,
Yesterday,
In a different place,
With a smile for tomorrow,
And a dream to chase.
The fishermen would take her,
Onto distant adventures,
Where myths and legends,
Could never break her,
Onto distant adventures,
Where myths and legends,
Could never break her,
Alone?
Never,
For the sea was her friend,
And she was the queen,
Of the ocean.
Never,
For the sea was her friend,
And she was the queen,
Of the ocean.
